    This is my 58 kit - Gold Sparkle - but I'm using my new Champagne Sparkle snare here.  That's a 1950's Ludwig calfhide I bought on eBay - 22" - I took it apart cut the wood hoop down fit it to my drum reglued it and cut and tucked the hide back on....fit's perfect and sounds good.  It still has the old Ludwig stamp on it.
