I've been listening to a band called August Burns Red since their album Thrill Seeker came out. Their new album Messengers just came out as well. The drummer Matt Greiner is sick! Turns out they have an actual band website other than their MySpace and on Matt's bio he lists his gear:

Quote

Truth Maple Drumset; 10x8", 12x9", 16x16" toms, 20x20" bass drum, (Greyish/Charcoal Hi-gloss finish with black powdercoated hardware and 50% offset lugs), Mapex Black Panther 6.5x14" Birdseye Maple snare drum, Pearl Hardware: curved front rack, BC2000 boom stand, H2000 Eliminator hi-hat stand, CH2000 Gyro Lock Cymbal Holder, CH1000 Uni Lock Cymbal Holder, Vater 3A Fatback Wood Tip sticks, Evans EC2 heads, Genera HD Dry snare head, and Emad and Retro Screen bass drum heads, Tama Iron Cobra Flexi-Glide double bass pedals, SKB Roto-x padded cases, Zildjian cymbals

Just thought I'd share that with y'all since I just found out myself. I always wanted to know how one of those snares sounded for heavier music and now I know... and I like it!

I finally broke out the CD booklet for ABR's new album and read Matt's thanks. Here's a little piece of it. You might recognize some names...
