Not sure were i should have put this question but the thing is that i would like to ask if it is possible to put new drum sounds onto a Yamaha DTXpress Module from say the Internet through a computer,Maybe the answer is in the Manual but i have'nt got that far into it yet,Or are there things you can buy to update sounds? :chaplin:

I have DTX from 2001 and it is not possible import new midi sounds into the module.
Drums: Mapex Saturn in Rootbeer Burst (22, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16), Black Panther Hand-Hammered Brass Snare
Cymbals: Bunch of Zildjians and one Wuhan
Hardware: Tama Iron Cobra Pedals and Tama Roadpro Stands

The only thing related that I think you could do would be to like record your dtexpress via MIDI if it is able and then assign sounds in your DAW for the MIDI values from a library. But, basically, no, if  you were thinking of replacing sounds for live play using the existing Yamaha module.
