1. Whats your name?

3a. Writer/webguy; musician.

4. How long have you been playing drums and any other instruments?
I've been into making rhythms since I was 4 or so. I first played a real kit beginning around 18.
I've played guitar since the age of 20. I also play some bass and some keyboard.
5. What drums have you previously and currently own?
My first kit was a classic Ludwig oyster set from 1969, given to me by my parents.
My main kit is a Mapex Saturn 5-piece in Transparent Amber.
My second is a Ludwig Accent CS kit, which I improved in the summer of '09 by removing the wrap and refinishing the underlying wood. With careful tuning, it sounds pretty good.
6. What cymbals do you use?
A assortment of Dream cymbals:
No real preference.
8. Do you play in a band or gig?
Yes, four or five.
9. Whats your most prized music accomplishment?
2009's gig at Bluesfest.
Ability in many styles. Good feel. Self-education.
